El Dorado County Leaders Endorse Ted Gaines for State Senate

PLACERVILLE, CA -- The Ted Gaines for State Senate campaign has released an impressive list of El Dorado County leaders who are endorsing Gaines.

The list includes El Dorado County District Attorney Vern Pierson, County Supervisor Ray Nutting, County Supervisor Ron Briggs, Placerville Mayor Pierre Rivas, Placerville Vice-Mayor Dave Machado, Placerville City Councilman Carl Hagen and South Lake Tahoe Mayor Pro Tem Hal Cole.

"Ted Gaines has done an excellent job representing El Dorado County in the Assembly and we look forward to him serving as our next State Senator," said Vern Pierson. "Ted works hard to keep in touch with the people he represents."

Gaines is an independent businessman and Assemblyman from the 4th district, which includes much of El Dorado County. El Dorado is the third largest county in the First Senate District, which stretches from Amador County to the Oregon border.

"It is very gratifying to have so much support from leaders in El Dorado County," said Gaines.
